Mr. Michael Lex McAliley of Geneva died July 28, 2014, at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, Alabama. He was 68.
Surviving are his daughter Lucy Clark (George) of Montgomery, his granddaughter Erica Elizabeth Brooks (Daniel) and great granddaughter Savanna Elizabeth Brooks. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Anne McAliley Moman (Guy) of Tuscaloosa AL, and Mrs. Connie McAliley Chartier (Wayne Yo-ag) of Niceville, FL; and two brothers, Donald Rex McAliley (Suzanne) of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Franklin Lee McAliley (Patti) of Dothan, AL.
Michael was born January 28, 1946, in Geneva County, Alabama, to the late Rex McAliley and Ouida Fleming McAliley. He was the grandson of the late Angus Lee and Mattie Cox McAliley and Benjamin Franklin and Ollie Childs Fleming. Michael graduated from Geneva High School in 1964 and later earned a degree from Troy University. He served in the United States Army and was stationed on the Korean Peninsula.
Sunset Memorial Park, Funeral Home and Crematory in Dothan is handling arrangements. The family will have a private memorial service.
