Ms. Mary Alice Stevens, age 74 of Creola, Alabama, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at Mobile Infirmary. Ms. Stevens was born in Goodway and had been a former resident of Frisco City. She worked as a utility operator for Landlubber and Williamson-Dickie in Frisco City for several years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Claude Wilson Johnson and Mary Estella Scott Johnson, her brother, Roy E. Johnson and her son-in-law, Michael L. Snow.
Survivors include her son, Michael (Ann) Stevens of Monroeville; her daughters, Regina S. Snow of Uriah and Angelia S. Wiggins of Excel; her brother, Ralph (Lucy) Johnson of Chunchula; her sister, Betty Ann (Scott) Michels of Sanford, FL; six grandchildren, Laura Reesman, Katie Green, Mary Megan Wiggins, Shawn Stevens, Kayla Stevens, and Michael Snow; and five great grandchildren, Asher Reesman, Gavin Reesman, Peyton Green, Aubrey Green, and Jayde Joseph.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at 1:30 P.M. at Johnson Cemetery in Goodway with Rev. Wayne McMillian officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
