Mrs. Susan Virginia Wetzel, 77, widow of Albert C. Wetzel, died Saturday evening at 6 o'clock at her home near Emmitsburg of Complications. A daughter of the late John and Sophia Petticord Little, She had resided in the community most of her life. She was a member of the Sodality, of St. Anthony's church. Her husband died about nine years ago. She is survived by five children; Mrs. George Lingg, Mrs. Ernest Seltzer, Ernest Wetzel and Russell Wetzel, near Emmitsburg and William Wetzel, Washington. Twenty five grandchildren also survive. Requiem mass in St. Anthony's church Wednesday morning at nine o'clock with Rev. Thomas D. Reinhart officiating. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary's cemetery. S.
