Patricia Jane "Pat" Rader, 84, of rural Fostoria passed away at 9:01 AM Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Fostoria Hospital. She was born June 28, 1930 in Liberty Twp., Hancock Co. to the late Andrew Clair and Mary Matilda (Fisher) Huffman. She married Max Reed Rader on June 20, 1948 and he survives. Also surviving are three children: Ann Marie (Robert) Beckman; Martha Jean (Roger) Smith and Rex Ramon (Shirley) Rader; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; sister, Irene Rower; and sister-in-law, Rosetta Huffman. She was preceded in death by a son, Alan Reed Rader; and four brothers, Don; Dale; Olen and Vern Huffman. She was a homemaker and helped on the family farm. She was a member of Arcadia Evangelical Lutheran Church where she had been active in the choir and the women's Dorcas Circle. She enjoyed camping with her family and making homemade ice cream. She also enjoyed Sheltie dogs, including her faithful companion "Penny". Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 3:00-8:00 PM at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME where the funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 30, 2014.
