Born in Denver, Dec. 31, 1918, and at the age of 3 months, family moved to Arvada where he has lived since. John worked for Gates Rubber Co. for 35 years and served in WWII.
He was an avid fly fisherman, golfer and traveled the world with his wife, Cora Mauck, who passed away in 2005. John has 3 daughters: Janet, Joan and Diane; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
