Bruce Leonard Lockett April 9, 1966 ~ Nov. 30, 2012 Resident of Fairfax Having been ill for three years after a major stroke, Bruce passed away at his Fairfax residence. Born in Walnut Creek to Robert Dudley and Darby Lynn (Richardson) Lockett, he attended Cambridge and Foothill before graduating from Ygnacio Valley High School in 1984. Bruce enjoyed the out of doors and his two pet cats, Thomas and Bob. Bruce held a number of jobs with his favorite being car courier in San Francisco. Besides his parents, Bruce is survived by his brother, Bryan and family, Stephanie, Sara, and Kyle, plus a large extended family. A memorial will be held Sat., Dec. 22 at 11:00 at Shell Ridge Community Church, 200 La Casa Via, Walnut Creek. Gifts in his memory can be made to The Monument Crisis Center, 2350 Monument Blvd., Suite B, Concord, CA 94520. Both staple food items and monetary gifts are welcome.
