Born on June 3, 1941 and passed away in his home on July 25, 2014. He was born in Lake City, Arkansas to Oca Davis and Lorene Davis who preceded him in death. He spent his first years in North Texas and at the age of 7 relocated to St. Louis, MO.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Brenda J. Davis of Tyler, Texas, his son, Steven B. Davis of Merida, Mexico, his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Reva Davis of St. Louis MO and Brenda's loving family.

Ted served in the United States Marines from October 1960 until October 1966 and a member of the Free Masons since 1996.

He was known for his love of music which left him with many friends around the country as well as in the Tyler area. He was never happier than when he was spending time listening to stories of the road from his musician friends.

He will be remembered as a genuinely good man, with a big heart who could always put a smile on your face. [St. Louis Funeral and Cremation]
