Father One of Members of First Constitutional Congress of State.
Philadelphia, March 12. -- Stephen Paxon Darlington, president of the Cortright Metal Roofing company, died in his apartments in the Burlington apartments, Spruce and Juniper streets. He was seventy-nine years old. Death was caused by a complication of diseases. He was a member of the Union League, also the Masonic order. Mr. Darlington was the founder of the company of which he was president. Prior to forming this company he had been identified with the Pennsylvania Railroad company in the capacity of superintendent of the Harrisburg division of the road. His father was William Darlington of Westchester, one of the members of the first constitutional congress of Pennsylvania.
