DARLINGTON — Kate Camille Collins, 86, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, in a Darlington health-care center after an illness.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, in Mount Hope Cemetery in Florence, directed by Waters-Powell Funeral Home.
She was born in Florence, a daughter of the late Wesley L. and Pearl Coward Collins. She graduated from Florence High School and served in the U.S. Navy. For many years, Ms. Collins worked in the advertising department of the Florence Morning News.
Survivors include two nephews, Jan (Lucy) of W. Jefferson, N.C., and Alan of Hickory, N.C.
