Major League Baseball Player. He played outfield for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1942 to 1947. He was traded to the Boston Braves during the off season. He spent only two seasons there before he was traded to the Brooklyn Dodgers for the two remaining seasons of his career. In 10 years, he batted .267 with 67 home runs 428 runs batted in.
