FLETCHER Eleanor "Pagie" Tooahimpah Tate 73, of Fletcher, died peacefully at her home Saturday, July 26, 2014, with her family by her side.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday July 31, 2014, at Little Washita UMC in Fletcher with Pastor J.T. Goombi officiating.
Burial will follow at Little Washita Cemetery under direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home.
Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday July 30, 2014, at Little Washita UMC in Fletcher.
Eleanor "Pagie" was born Feb. 7, 1941, in Lawton to Esther Parker. She attended school and graduated from Apache High School. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids, watching her grandsons play football and basketball. She was a member of the Comanche Nation.
She is survived by James "Shorty" T. Tate, her husband of 53 years; daughters: Carissa Sue O'Keeffe of Apache; Paula Tate Martinez of Lawton; Diana Lynn Tate of Apache; and Darlene Tate of San Antonio; sisters: Carol Aitson, Lisa LookingGlass and Gina Longhat, all of Apache; brothers: Leland Parker, Rodrick Parker and Travis "Beaver" Parker, all of Apache; eight grandsons; eight granddaughters; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Esther Parker, sister, Theresa Poolaw; brothers: Billie Parker, Larry Parker and Lester Parker; son, Anthony T. Tate; and daughter, LaDonna T. Tate.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
