Ralph Jay Warner, age 81 of Circleville, WV, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the home of his daughter, Shirley Lamborne in Circleville.

He was born on October 7, 1932 in Circleville, the son of the Dice and Annie (Bennett) Warner.

His wife, Nellie Warner preceded him in death on December 26, 2004.

Mr. Warner was a graduate of Circleville High School and was a member of the North Fork Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge #144 AF & AM.

He had worked for 33 years for the US Forest Service as a Construction and Maintenance Supervisor, and was a Farmer.

Mr. Warner is survived by: a daughter, Shirley Lamborne and husband Michael of Circleville; 2 sons, Glen Warner and wife Janet of Moorefield, WV, Teddy Warner and wife Lucinda of Circleville; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Warner; a sister, Nola Warner of Petersburg, WV; a brother, Roy Barth Warner and wife Lovaine of Franklin; 8 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 4 step great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, Ralph was preceded in death by: a son, Bill Warner; a brother, Glenn Dice Warner; and two sisters, Dovie Welton and Edna Virginia Warner.

Mr. Warner's family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, 6-8 PM at the Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin.

Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Roger Gorby officiating.

Interment will be in Teter Hill Cemetery, Circleville, WV. Memorials may be made to: North Fork Volunteer Fire Companies or Rescue Squad.
