Around 1910, He moved to Sandusky, Ohio. It was there he met Mary "Mable" (Bauman) Lindsley-Barnett and married her in Michigan on 17 Mar 1917. From this union they had five children. A daughter, Norma E. (Barnett) Chudzinski; a son, Irvin A Barnett; a daughter, Eva (Barnett) Walker; a daughter, Mildred Moray (Barnett) Gleason; a son, Harry Joseph Barnett.
