Dean Jagmin, 85 of Salem, OR, passed away on July 19, 2014 with his wife at his side. He was born in Oregon City, to Matt and Myrtle (Brown) Jagmin on June 30, 1929. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Dean worked for the telephone company from 1956 until 1992.
He is survived by his wife, Shar, of Salem, OR, step-son Troy (Kristie) Schaffner and his three "Little Angels", Madison, Katie and Aimee Schaffner, all of Cornelius, OR, mother-in-law Florence Nelson of Dallas, OR, sister-in-law Linda (Ron) Grossman, of Fresno, CA, sister Dawna Reimer of Bend, OR, daughter Cheryl McColloch and family of Salem, OR. His favorite aunt and uncle, Mary and Ted Hillyer of Salem, OR. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service will be held 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Willamette National Cemetery. Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service.
