Charlie Jones Jr., 33 of Bloomburg, TX passed away July 27, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at Gorsulowsky Funeral Home Chapel in Vivian, LA officiated by Rev. Phil Starrett. Burial will follow at Good Exchange Cemetery in McLeod, TX. There will be a time of visitation from 6-8 pm on Wednesday, July 30th at the funeral home.
Charlie was born January 11, 1981 in Shreveport, LA to Charles Alver Jones Sr. and Martha Kay Hendershot Jones. He lived in Bloomburg, TX all of his life. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Doddridge, AR. He loved riding horses. He was fan of muscle cars and loved MOPAR.
Charlie was preceded in death by his grandfather Ted R. Hendershot and his uncle Bobby Wayne Jones Sr. He is survived by his wife Shelley Orr Jones of Bloomburg, TX, his 5 children, Dylan Harrist, Haylee Campbell, Audree Jones, Grayce Jones and Mylee "Baby" Jones, his parents Charles and Kay Jones of Bloomburg, TX, his grandparents; Mary Maxine Hendershot, Charles A. Jones and Barbara Gail of Rodessa, LA, and Linda K. King of Blanchard, LA, his brother and sisters; Daniel Jones and fiancée Latoya of Bloomburg, TX, Felecia Andrews and husband Justin of Bloomburg, TX and Brittany Rodgers and husband Chris of Bloomburg, TX, his aunt Melinda Miller and husband Luke and their son Vincent of Gilmer, TX, his special cousins, Bobby Jones Jr. and wife Britany of Bloomburg, TX and Christi and Ronnie Armas of Fayetteville, AR, and numerous other cousins.
