Ed Angel, 63, 856 N. 2nd St., was dead on arrival at Mercy Hospital at 8:15 pm Thursday.
He was born in Jellico, Tenn., a son of James and Samantha Creekmore Angel.
Mr. Angel was a retired press operator for the Arnamack Steel Corp., Covington, Ky.
In 1943 he married Dessie Lykins.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Dessie Lykins Angel; one son, Jimmy Angel, Hamilton; one step son, Kenneth Stacy, Fresno, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Lottie) Jackson, and Mrs. Mildred Mink, both of Hamilton, and Mrs. Mack (Betty) Barnett, Cincinnati; three brothers, Frank Angel, Hamilton and Emery Angel and Ben Angel, both of Somerset, Ky.; one sister, Mrs. Lillis Reynolds, Sterns, Ky.; 15 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 1 pm Monday at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation 4 to 9 pm Sunday.
