MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Regina A. Conway, 77, died Friday, July 3, 2009, in Indianapolis.
She was born May 7, 1932, in Tell City to the late Walter and Pearl (Powell) Mills. She married John Lee Conway June 26, 1954. He died Aug. 18, 2003.
A 1950 Tell City High School graduate, she was a homemaker and lived in Cannelton before moving to Frankfort in 1978, then to Myrtle Beach in 1999. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church, former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church where she served in St. Ann's Society and former Tri-Kappa sorority member.
Surviving are two sons, Stephen Conway of Indianapolis and John Conway of Plainfield; a sister, Delores Mackey of New Albany; a brother, Paul Mills of Tell City; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, July 8, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Frankfort with burial in Green Lawn Cemetery. The Rev. Chris Miller officiated.
Memorial contributions may be sent to a favorite charity.
