Alice Mae Grissom, 87, of Humble passed away August 22, 2017.

Born March 9, 1930 in Warren, Texas to the late Edmond and Mattie Glenn, she lived in Humble for many years. She was a retired Assistant V.P. in banking.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, O. B. Grissom, Jr.; sister, Loraine Glenn; brothers, Joe Glenn, Jack Glenn, Buck Glenn, Roy Glenn, Nemmie Glenn, Lloyd Glenn and Willie Duke Glenn.

She is survived by her loving children, Charles B. Grissom and wife, Michelle of Montgomery, Sharon L. Gossage and husband, Clay of Humble, Craig B. Grissom and wife, Christa of Cleveland; brother, Horace Glenn of Houston; grandchildren, Derek Pierce, Britton Grissom, Hillary Grissom, Miranda Gossage, Ashley Gossage, Caryn Grissom, Dawson Grissom and Matthew Grissom; and numerous other family members and friends.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 10 am at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jim Bo Sweeney officiating. Burial will follow at the Fellowship Cemetery in Warren. Visitation will be held Friday from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Derek Pierce, Dawson Grissom, Dee Stephens, Jon Crosby, Kelly Ford, and Colton Smith. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Matthew Grissom.
