Kim was born on March 19, 1960 in Waco, Texas to Richard Livingston and Frances Louise Stone. She grew up in Haskell and was employed by the Mineral Wells Independent School District for 13 years.
Kim was preceded in death by both of her parents, one infant son, William Fred Martin; and two sisters, Glenda Storm and Karen Livingston. She is survived by her sons, Adam Martin and his wife Amber, of Box Elder, South Dakota, Jeremy Martin of Heidelberg, Germany, John Schulte of Ocala, Florida; her son and daughter, Antwon and Sarah Sansom and their father Johnny Sansom all of Weatherford; her step-father Fred Draper of Haskell; four brothers, David Livingston of Abilene, Harvey Livingston of Cauldwell, Texas, Randy Livingston of Haskell, and Steve Livingston of Clyde; one sister Kathy Gosdin of Bernalillo, New Mexico; one grand-daughter Brianna and several nieces and nephews.
