Mrs. Thompson was a native of Bakersfield and had lived in Escalon since 1993 and previously had lived in Modesto since 1969.
She was a selfemployed artist and also helped in organizing Thompson-Hysell Engineering of Modesto.
She was a member of East Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, Modesto.
She was a member of the Sun Catchers Art Group.
She enjoyed sailing, art and horses.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley Thompson of Escalon; children, Eran Johnson of Oakdale, Joshua Thompson of Oceanside and Joseph Thompson of Modesto; parents, William and Zellner Cato of Lodi; brother, Micheal Cato of Lockeford; twin sister, Trudi Erickson of Riverbank; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness, East Congregation, Modesto.
Private burial at Burwood Cemetery.
