GORHAM, Ill., May 16 -- Two high school boys suffered fatal injuries and another was in critical condition from a head-on automobile collision near here early Sunday.
Henry Echert, 16 and Lawrence Amschler, 15, of nearby Jacob died of their injuries. Erwin Rathjen, 18, of Neunert, Ill. alone in another car was in a St. Louis hospital today for treatment. The cars crashed on a blacktop road west of Neunert.
