SHARRON C. THOMPSON, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014. She was born Dec. 28, 1948 in Camden, N.J. the daughter of the late Henry and Catherine Jackson. Sharron retired from Superior Essex after 38 years in Metals Procurement. She was passionate about her family, quilting and sewing as well as an avid reader. She loved time at the lake. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, David Thompson; son, Michael (Candice) Thompson; granddaughter, Rosie Thompson; brother, James Jackson; niece, Monday Makin Lopez; nephews, Mark (Amber Munoz) Makin, and James Jackson; special great-niece, Zamatha Mulder; sisters-in-law, Linda Thompson, and Sharon (Victor) Siebeneck. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Erma Miller; and brother-in-law, John Makin. Service is 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at Parkwood Church of God, 3320 Trier Road with calling 30 minutes prior to service. Visitation also from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. Preferred memorials are to Cancer Services of N.E. Indiana.
