Lawrence "Rego" Holland age 89 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Cumberland County Hospital. He was born on January 04, 1925 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Gilbert and Helena Haun Holland. He was a former employee of the Indianapolis Stockyard and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving as a Tank Crewman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles Holland, Robert Holland, Clarence Holland, and Arthur Holland, three sisters, Catherine Delweax, Margaret Coleman, and Helen Evans.

Survivors Include:
His wife- Mary Lou White Holland of Burkesville, KY; five daughters- Violet Turner and her husband Otis of Dubre, KY, Glenda Parsons and her husband Jim of Mooresville, IN, Donna Muse of Mooresville, IN, Linda Muse and her husband Danny of Marrowbone, KY, and Betty Milam of Marrowbone, KY; one son- Daniel Holland of Marrowbone, KY; one sister- Irene Grider of Indianapolis, IN; 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral Service: Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Ronnie Pitcock officiating. Burial in Dutch Creek Cemetery with military honors. Family requests visitation after 5:00 P.M. Sunday, July 27, 2014 until the funeral hour on Tuesday at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
