LITTLE ROCK
Senator Jones' Son Killed in a Quarrel.
LITTLE ROCK, Ark., July 19. – [Special.] – Nate [Nat] K. Jones, son of United States Senator James K. Jones, died this morning from the effects of a gun shot wound inflicted by J. F. Shipley, at Washington, Ark., last evening. The shooting grew out of a quarrel over trivial matters. The coroner's jury held Shipley for murder. Senator Jones is prostrated by the terrible blow.
