AVON MAN DIES
FROM ACCIDENT

Falls from Ladder in His Barn
and Succumbs to Injuries Next
Day

Charles F. House of Avon died last week Wednesday morning at Strong Memorial hospital, Rochester, as the result of an injury received at his home the preceding day.
Mr House was expecting men to work on his barn Wednesday, so Tuesday morning he and another man were preparing a scaffold for the next day's work when Mr. House fell from a ladder in the highest part of the barn onto the cement floor below. He never regained consciousness.
Mr. House leaves his wife, Mrs. Livonia Green House, two sons, Clarence and Earl, all of Avon, and one daughter, Miss Ardella, of Rochester. He also is survived by his father, T.M. House, four sisters, Mrs. W.A. Parish, Mrs. Grace Damewood, Mrs. L.M. Seeley and Mrs. A.G. Pike and one brother, Roy T., all of Avon, and Mrs. C.D. Jewell and Mrs. T.C. Swan of Livonia.
Mr. House was born in Lima but went to Avon when only a lad ten years old. He had been an active and devoted member of the Methodist church for many years and was also a member of the Avon grange.
