Hubert died when his aricraft, Hudson AM892, flew into high ground 6 miles northeast of the airfield when returning to RCAF Debert from a night cross-country exercise. All four of the crew were killed.

Sergeant John Barber, RCAF

Sergeant Charles William Stratton, RAFVR

Pilot Officer Harold Frederick Willis, RNZAF


Son of Napoleon and Rose (nee Allard) Lafrance, of Coniston, Ontario.
