Mrs. Mary Phillips White Berry, 81, of 16 Seventh Avenue, Midvale, died at 275 West Sixth South street Saturday at 4 p.m. of chronic heart and kidney disease.
Mrs. Berry was born September 27, 1860, in Dakota county, Minn., a daughter of Edman (sic) and Emaline Dilley Phillips. She was married to Charles White in Round Grove, McLeod, Minn. in 1877. Mr. White died in 1922, and she was married to A. C. Berry in 1927 at Plevna, Fallon, Mont. In 1930 they moved to Midvale. Her second husband died in 1936 (sic).
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Nutter of Midvale; two brothers, Clifton Phillips of Browntown, Minn., and Louis Phillips of Hutchinson, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Hadruth and Mrs. Ole Oleson of Montevideo, Minn., and Mrs. E. E. Lee of Glenroe, Minn.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 3 p.m., in the Midvale Second LDS ward chapel. Friends may call at 16 Seventh Avenue, Midvale, Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday prior to services. Burial will be in the Midvale cemetery.
