On Jun 26, 1954, she was united in marriage to Merlyn 'Brad' G. Bradley, at Opstead Baptist Church, NE of Isle, MN. They raised their three daughters in Crystal, MN. As the girls got older she began to work part-time with families whose children had special needs and drove a van to transport them.
