Randall P. Wood, age 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 21, 2012 surrounded by his family. He was the son of the late Albert C. Wood and Pricilla I. Robinson.

He was born in Fall River and a lifelong resident of Westport. He was a bombardier in the Army Air Corps in World War II and an electrician and water systems contractor. In serving his community, he was a lifelong member of the Westport Volunteer Firefighters Association, the American Legion Post 145, former member of the Westport Lion's Club and served on the Westport Board of Health.

He leaves behind his devoted wife Charlene R. (Keith) Wood; his children: Eleanor L. Gagnon and her husband Arthur of Somerset, Shirley A. Wood of Rathdrum, ID, Glenn A. Wood and his wife Barbara of Dandridge, TN, Donna L. Pettey of Ramona, CA, Keith A. Spooner of Westport, Barry S. Spooner and his wife Christine of Westport, Karen B. Cook of Mahopac, NY and Susan L. Clancy and her husband Danny of Winter Park, FL; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was the brother of the late Malcolm Wood, Melvin Wood, Kenneth Wood, Myrtle Rhodes and Thelma Wood.
