Miss. Margarete Marie Reu
Miss Margarete Marie Reu, 77, of 1133 S. Grandview Avenue. died at 7:40 p.m. Thursday at Mercy Medical Center.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at St. John's Lutheran Church. There will be no visitation.
Miss Reu, a school teacher, was born in Rockfalls, Ill. She taught at Wartburg College for six years, taught Latin and German from 1924 to 1962 at Senior High School, and taught at Clarke College until she retired.
She was a member of Dubuque Women's Club, B.P.W., and National Retired Teachers Association.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Samuel (Hedwig) Salzmann of Dubuque and Mrs. Edward (Elizabeth) Hanff of Waverly, Ia., and brother, A.H. Reu of St. Simons, Ga.
