MRS MOLLY ROGERS FORMER PATCHOGUE TEACHER DIES

Mrs Molly I Lindsley Rogers, 50, formerly of Patchogue, wife of Ralph E Rogers of Pleasantville, NY and daughter-in-law of Mr and Mrs Eugene Rogers of East Moriches, died December 1, at Northern Westchester Hospital, Mount Kisco.

Mrs Rogers will be remembered here as a teacher at River Avenue School approximately 24 years ago.

She was born in New Haven, NY and had been teaching third grade in the Thornwood Elementary School for the past 17 years. A graduate of Oswego State University, class of 1940, she received her master's degree in 1968.

Surviving, besides her husband and his family are; two sons, Ralph E Jr of Antrim NH and Jere, of Pleasantville, also her parents Mr and Mrs Grant N Lindsley of New Haven, a brother George Lindsley, of Columbus, Ga and a sister, Mrs Neil Duell of New Haven.

Funeral services were held December 4 at St John's Episcopal Church, Pleasantville, with interment at East Moriches.
