Cavan, 13 Apr, 1830 showing Thomas of Drumgoon Parish and Jane of "this Parish" (Knockbride); immigrated in c.1831; settled first in Cavan township, Northumberland county; served in the rebellion of 1837/38; about 7 years after the Cavan settling they moved to Darlington township, Durham County, both of Ontario, Canada; an elder for over 30 years at the Enniskillen Presbyterian Church; after about 45 years and about two years after Jane's death, 5 Sep,1882, he moved with his son to Gorrie, Howick township, Huron county, where he died on 27 Jan., 1886 (ae.82); Thomas is buried in the Enniskillen graveyard.
