John Ehn was the creator of The Old Trapper's Lodge, a California Folk Art display started in 1951 in Sun Valley, California. It was designated a California Historic Landmark (No. 939.5) on March 25, 1985. In 1988 The Old Trapper's Lodge artwork was moved to Los Angeles Pierce College's Alvin Cleveland Park at 6201 Winnetka Avenue in Woodland Hills. As of 2023 the landmark is abandoned and in danger of demolition.
