Tina Mabel Anderson was the last of 8 children born to James Gilliam Anderson and Alice Selena Reed. On September 7, 1904, she married Fred Posey Bailey in Los Angeles, California. Their daughter, Tina May Bailey, was born in 1907. Less than a year later, in March of 1908, Fred died in Hutchinson, Kansas where they lived.
On July 24, 1914, Tina married John Bradford Kathary, and they had two more children, Mary Anderson Kathary in 1919, and John Bradford Kathary, Jr. in 1929. Tina and John are buried in Fairlawn Burial Park in Hutchinson, and Fred Bailey is buried in the Eastside Cemetery in Hutchinson.
