TERRY, Frank M., Jr.
Frank M. Terry, Jr. (aka Frank M. Terry), 72, of Coventry passed away Saturday (February 2, 2013). He was born July 23, 1940, the son of the late Frank M. Terry, Sr. of Hazardville and Ann (Ruff) Terry of Glastonbury. Frank was a graduate of Glastonbury High School, a veteran of the USAF, a retired member of the Hartford Fire Department, a past member and president of the East Hartford Kiwanis and a past member of the Coventry Inland Wetlands Commission.
He leaves his best friend and love of his life, his wife of 49 years, Joann (Losty) Terry; he leaves a daughter and son-in-law and a granddaughter; as well as a son and daughter-in-law and grandchildren of Coventry.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at the Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home, 2665 Boston Tpke. (Route 44) Coventry, CT, 06238. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 2013 at St. Mary's Church, 1600 Main St., Coventry. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery in Glastonbury. In lieu of flowers, Frank suggests that donations be made to the Booth & Dimock Memorial Library in Coventry.
He will miss his family and friends enjoying Coventry Lake in the summer.
