Mildred was born February 28, 1915, in Koosharem, Utah the 11th child of William Baxter Brown and Amelia Christina Olsen. Her father was a Utah pioneer who came here in 1863 prior to the railroad. She graduated from South High School in 1933.
She married Kenneth Charles Farnsworth on November 3, 1934. They were later sealed in the Jordan River Temple. Together they raised what she constantly referred to as their "wonderful children". With a firm faith in God, Mildred was a beloved wife and mother who put her family first and foremost. She will be remembered for her sweet disposition, generous spirit and many humorous quips. She cooked, sewed, nursed and cared for her husband and children. She loved pink and red, Strauss waltzes, "Gone With The Wind", Clark Gable, and the family cabin in Provo Canyon. She spent many years researching her genealogy that she shared with her family. She served 17 years as Primary Nursery Leader in the Ivins Ward. For over 25 years she left cold punch for the US Postal Carriers.
She leaves a loving family, and is survived by her children: Pat Heller, Ken and Christell Farnsworth, Linda and Jerry Stocking, Bill and Lori Vuyk-Farnsworth, 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Eva Watkins of San Jose, California and a host of nieces and nephews who were so important to her. Preceded in death by her husband in 1981.
