Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS for Mr. Wesley H. Owens, 101, of Hattiesburg.
Mr. Owens was a retired Agriculture Teacher with the Lamar County School System and a member of Westminister Presbyterian Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II serving in the South Pacific.
He is survived by his wife, Rachel Hill Owens of Hattiesburg; one son, Gene Owens of Hattiesburg; two daughters, Mary Beth Warren of Fayetteville, N.C. and Rachel Owens of Salisbury, N.C.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
