Claude Allen Howard, 92, of Elizabethtown, IL. passed away on Monday December 1, 2014 at his residence. He was born on February 18, 1921 in Anna, Illinois to Steve Allen Howard and Mamie Pitts. He is a retired tool and Die Maker and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by Son: Carl Wayne and Betty Howard; Daughter: Doris Joan Luther; Daughter: Teresa Jean and Gary Wayne Perry; Son: Michael A. and Jeannie Howard; Son: Edward W. Howard; Son: Donald G. Howard; 15 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Wife: Margaret Pauline Stewart-Howard; Sister: Virginia E. Howard; and Parents: Steven Allen and Mamie Pitts-Howard.

Hardin County Funeral Services, Cox Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Funeral services will be on Saturday December 8, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Central Cemetery. Rev. Fred Birch will officiate the services.
