Leonard Oren Sharp blessed this world on April 26th, 1941 to the waiting arms of Virginia (Davis) and Walter Sharp. He was called Home February 1, 2008 at the age of 66 years in Tucson, Arizona.

Leonard enjoyed many things in life including hunting, fishing, woodworking, playing his guitar and classic cars like his 1950 Ford Custom.

He was married February 19th, 1961 to Jacqueline (Jackie) Leigh Hickman. Leonard lived in California and Alabama and called Iowa his home for 34 years. Although Leonard worked as an upholsterer for several companies early in life, he spent the majority of his working life at Pella Corp. In the last three years, one of Leonard's enjoyments was working with the students in Mrs. Davis' 4th grade class at East Elementary School in Knoxville.

His laughter and companionship will be dearly missed by his wife of 47 years, Jacqueline (Jackie) of Knoxville; their children, Lee (Sheri) Sharp of Maxwell, Bonnie (Paul) Stalzer of Knoxville, Kristi (Mike) Dursky of Knoxville, Lela (Dave) McKinney of Knoxville and Jeffrey (Cindy) Sharp of Pleasant Hill; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his mother, Virginia Sharp of Knoxville; and 6 siblings, Leland Sharp of CA, Eloise (Chet) Brecker of AZ, Delores Breuklander of Knoxville, Shirley Barber of Knoxville, Mary (Robert) Pinegar of Marysville and Robin (Skip) Hicks of WA.
