DORA FISCHER

Mrs. Herman Fischer, nee Dora Stradal, 82, of 915 Chicago St., Manitowoc, died Sunday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Fogeltanz in Kellnersville. In failing health for two months, she had been staying there the past two weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at the Saur Funeral Home in Kellnersville, and at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. The Rev. Frank Svatek will officiate with burial in the Church cemetery.

Mrs. Fischer was born in 1870 in Bohemia and at the age of two came to this country with her parents. The family settled on a farm near Menchalville. She was married to Herman Fischer in 1893 and they lived on a farm in Reedsville for a year and then on a farm in the town of Holland, Brown County, until 1927. That year they moved to Whitelaw. Mr. Fischer died in 1941.

Survivors are six daughters, Mrs. Egiduis Pettinger of Des Plaines, Ill., Mrs. Joseph Schuh of Clarks Mills, Mrs. Mary Geiger of Brillion, Mrs. Joseph Pritzl of East DePere, Mrs. William Urban of Monticello, Ind., and Mrs. Fogeltanz of Kellnersville; six sons, Edwin of Reedsville, Herman and Reuben of Milwaukee, William of Brillion, Ben of Manitowoc, and Daniel of Rt. 1, Cato; brother, Joseph, of Manitowoc; sister, Mrs. Anna Havlichek of Francis Creek; 37 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Charles Wilhelm, died in 1929.

Friends may call at the Saur Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Monday until time of services. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday evenings.
