"Samuel S. Drummy, 79, former special agent for the Union Pacific Railroad, Sunday died at his home at 3262 Valley Street.
Mr. Drummy lived had lived in Omaha 75 years. His mother was one of the Police Department's first matrons and his father, Samuel, Sr., an Omaha patrolman, was shot and killed in 1909 (sic) while pursuing a criminal.
survivors include his wife, Georgia E.; two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Zignik and Mrs. Helen Andresen, both of Omaha; four sons, William of Los Angeles, Samuel Jr. of North Platte, John and Robert, both of Omaha and three sisters.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Church with burial at Calvary Cemetery. A rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Tuesday at John A. Gentleman Mortuary."
