Cecilia Elisarraras Gutierrez, 95, a native of Santa Maria and a resident of Paso Robles, died peacefully Saturday, May 5, 2001.

Visitation is today from 4 to 7pm, with Rosary to be recited at 7pm, at Chapel of the Roses in Atascadero. A memorial Mass will take place Thursday at 10am at St. Rose Catholic Church in Paso Robles. The Rev. Inacio Martinez will officiate. Final disposition is at Santa Margarita District Cemetery.

Mrs. Gutierrez was born Feb. 1, 1906, in Santa Maria. She had been a resident of the Paso Robles area for the last 55 years. Being a homemaker most of her life, she enjoyed gardening, collecting various tools, crocheting, yard sales and most of all, visiting with family and friends. She also enjoyed listening to music, singing and dancing. Mrs. Gutierrez was known as mom, grandma and great gram, but more than that she was known as a friend to all. She will be missed by her friends at the Senior Citizen Center.

Mrs. Gutierrez is survived by her husband of 40 years, Reyes Gutierrez of Paso Robles; daughters Inez Arebalo of Paso Robles, and Mable Gonzales of Las Vegas, NV.; sons Salvador Elisarraras of Las Vegas, NV., Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Elisarraras of Las Vegas, NV., and Mr. and Mrs. Marcus (Max) Elisarraras of Paso Robles; 33 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 79 great-great-grandchildren, making a total of 163 family members. She was preceded in death by her first husband Joe Elisarraras in 1959, and her two beloved sons, Tony Elisarraras and Isador (Molly) Elisarraras.
