How do you begin to describe the life of an angel? As we have all lost those that we have loved through time, we each can look back and still feel the love shared with each angel as strong as the day they were here, Terri Lynn Walker was one such angel. Terri Lynn's Mom, Linda King, and father, Terry King were blessed on November 18th 1966 with a beautiful daughter they named Terri Lynn King. Terri Lynn King blessed Theodore Walker in marriage on May 15th of 1993. During their marriage, they were blessed with three children great children, Chad Walker, Victoria Walker, and Andrea Walker. Terri Lynn and I were both blessed when our son married Amy Walker and they gave us a grand baby Hannah Grace Walker. Terri Lynn walked with head held high and wings spread wide doing all she could to help all those that she could. Her love for her family was as important as the breath she took. When Terri Lynn passed, she passed in the arms of her husband with her kids by her side knowing that her love was felt by all. As I put this together, I try to think of something that I could say that would depict her in a way that all could understand. "Inspirational and an over-comer" is what comes to mind. She is as strong in our hearts as the day we met. She worked tirelessly to inspire those around her to become better people and more importantly, better Christians. Through her life, she was faced with many obstacles that she overcame and this last fight with Cancer was no different. In Terri Lynn's last moments, she fought with all her might to ensure that those with her knew she was not a quitter but a fighter, even to the bitter end. As she took her last breath, she told me that she would be OK and that as she was ready to go. Once she heard her daughter say "it's OK momma, you can go. We will be OK". She took her last breath at 7:35 PM on Tuesday July 22, 2014 surrounded by those that she loved in arms of the love of her life. The words that Terri Lynn Walker lived by were "Never back down, Never give up, and Never lose faith….God's got your back". She is also survived by two brothers, Michael H. Brown and David L. Brown both of Huntsville, Arkansas and three sisters, Sandra M. Lundy and Donna J. Johnson both of Florida and Beverly Southern of Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held at ten o'clock Saturday, July 26 at the Lower Campground Church with Reverend Ryan Stokes officiating. Interment will be in the Lower Campground Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net at Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Theodore Walker, Chad Walker, Heath Walker, Billy Bowen, Terry Wood, David Brown, Mike Brown and Jeff Dewberry. Honorary pallbearers will be: Josh Reed, Sterling Emitt and Terry King. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P. M. on Friday at the funeral home with the family present.
