Mary A. Brady Piton, of Columbus, died Monday, July 20, 1998 at The Ohio State University Hospital. Born in Brookfield, Mo. to the late James T. and Alice Moore Brady. Preceded in death by husband Phillip Piton in 1983, brothers Joseph, Judson and Charles and sister Kathryn. Survived by beloved daughter, Margaret, Montreal, Canada; sister-in-law, Ann Piton, Westmont, Ill.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends including Ned Behrman, Richard Willing, Edith Browning, Shannon Libbey and the Manley family, the Hammons, Margaret Lennon, Fran Kennedy and Ginny Nelson. Member of Immaculate Conception Church. Mary was active for many years in volunteer work with the Volunteer Bureau of Columbus, charter member of Mt. Carmel Medical Center Volunteers and Franklin County Genealogical Society. Thanks to Dr. William Gibson, Dr. John Larry and the staff of the 8th floor, Rhodes Hall, OSU Hospital. Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday, July 24, 1998 at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME, 2383 N. High St., Columbus, where friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
