Marilyn "Mim" (Heter) Wilkinson, 80, of Fostoria, formerly of Bellevue, died, Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Independence House in Fostoria.

She was born February 12, 1934 in Sandusky, the daughter of Harold Kenneth and Ivah May (Chandler) Heter.

She is survived by sister Marcia Chiow of Bellevue; step-children, Lynn Kaye (Dennis) Dorman of Findlay, Lori Pickering of Richmond, Virginia; five step-grandchildren; eight step great-grandchildren; two step-great-great-grandchildren; sister in-law Amy (Rex) Fishbaugh of Findlay; brothers in-law Lasley (Iris) Wilkinson of McComb, Gene Billingsley of Findlay; nephews, Mark Cousino of Cincinnati, David Cousino of Clyde; niece, Kathleen Munson of Huron and other numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her four-legged family members, her dog, "Tip" and her cat, "Miss Shila."

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Marilyn made many great friends over the years in Bellevue, Bloomdale, and Fostoria, especially at the Quail Meadows Apartments.

Marilyn was a 1952 graduate of Bellevue High School and Tiffin University where she belonged to Alpha Iota Sorority. She married Leo Wilkinson, February 24, 1989 who passed away in 1999. She was a customer service representative and secretary for Central Soya of Bellevue, Ohio for 36 1/2 years, retiring in 1989. Marilyn enjoyed music and flowers and loved her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Bloomdale.

Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 24 at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Reverend Jeff Ridenour and Pastor Diane Carter will be presiding, with burial at Riverview Cemetery, West Millgrove, Ohio.
