Flora Sue Martin, 95, widow of Jesse E. Martin, died Wednesday, July 23, 2014, in Grand Strand Healthcare.

Mrs. Martin was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late Rupert Reuben Jackson and Alice Ford Jackson.

She was predeceased by two daughters, Sandra Lee Garrell and Dee Dee Martin; a great-grandson, Jordan Ballard; a brother, Grady Jackson; and three sisters, Pearl Johnson, Rhoda Martin, and Margaret Holt Nesmith.

Mrs. Martin is the mother of Milton Keith Martin (Pat) of Georgetown, Roger Vernon Martin (Betty) of Myrtle Beach, Linda Sue Singleton of Socastee, and Judy Ballard of Conway; a sister, Mary Alice Woodbury of Gresham; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2014, in Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The Rev. Ray Smith will officiate. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery Mausoleum.
