Benjamin Clayton Baker, the son of Addison Baker and Anna Delila Holaday was born in Wilmington, Ohio. He married Minnie Agnes Knox on May 12, 1907 in Readout, Oklahoma. Clayton was a carpenter and farmer following in his father's and his grandfather's carpentry trade.
