Laura Thelma Paslay of Waco, a homemaker, died Wednesday at a local nursing home. She was 89. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Waco Memorial Park.
Mrs. Paslay, formerly Laura Dingler, was born July 27, 1905, in Kirby, Ark. She had lived in the Waco area since 1925 and was a member of Missionary Baptist Church in Waco. Her husband, Fred H. Paslay, died Dec. 24, 1984.
Survivors include one daughter, LaVerne Todd of Waco; one son, Cecil Paslay of Alvarado; three grandchildren; six great-grandsons; and one great-great-grandson.
