Oleta Fay Beck, 70, of Las Vegas, passed away July 19, 2014, after a curagious battle with cancer. She was born Aug. 18, 1943, to E.D. and Mildred Oleta Beauregard.
Oleta has been reunited in passing with her beloved sister, Carolyn Carter. She is survived by her wonderful husband, of 53 years, Thomas Beck; their two beautiful daughters, Kimberley Gross and Rhonda Sledge; and her caring sister, Sharon Andrews, who never left her side. Oleta, known as "Mema," is also survived by five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
This very strong and beautiful woman was loved by many, will be missed by all and cherished for eternity. She earned her halo here on Earth and the wings granted by death will carry this angel home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, at Bethany Baptist Church, 210 Wyoming St., Boulder City.
