Orval Wayne Jeffries age 87 of Greensburg passed away Wednesday at his residence, in Green County.
He was the son of George William Jeffries & Tura Catherine Davis Jeffries,
He had made a profession of Faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivers include his wife Arlene Bishop Jeffries, 1 daughter & son in law, Joni & Dan Thiron of Greensburg, 1 grandchild, Melissa Bonta of Greensburg, 1 step grandchild Michael Thiron of Campbellsville, 1 Brother Elmo Jeffries of Shepherdsville,
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard Jeffries, Ralph Jeffries, and Kenneth Jeffries, three sisters Sybil Pepper, Alma Moran & Marcella Moran.
The family requests visitation from 5 to 8 p.m.Central Time Friday and after 7 a.m. Saturday until time of the service at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Central Time Saturday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Oak Grove Cemetery fund .
